    The guy contacted us about a project, got very excited that we were interested, and then ignored us for two weeks.

    Then he sent an email saying he was traveling.

    Now two more weeks have passed.

    I think we should call. My buddy says no.

    What's the point of calling him? People call when they want you and don't when they don't. Calling just makes us look weak and in need of a project. I think he'll call back if he's interested in pursuing this.
